Fr. Arctii Niu Bang Zi 12g Disperses Wind-Heat Relieves toxicity.
With Lian Qiao, unblocks and drains Heat toxin, disperses clumps and swellings for sore, swollen throat, swellings like mumps, boils and other Heat toxin lesions and ulcerations and abscesses of the tongue and mouth.
Rz. et Rx. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 10g Releases the Exterior and disperses Cold.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 6g Drains Fire and resolves Fire toxicity.
With Huang Qin, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10g Drains Fire, detoxifies and calms ascending Liver Yang.
Hb. Menthae Bo He 3g Disperses Wind-Heat, cools and clears the head and eyes and benefits the throat.
